JEFF PUFFENBERGER

Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University in 1985. He is a registered architect in the state of Ohio and a member of the American Institute of Architects.

Jeff’s extensive knowledge of construction makes him a skillful author of Working Drawings for Acock Associates. As a Construction Administrator in the field, he is observant, with a keen eye for detail. As an architect, he helps incorporate all project design elements into the project Construction Documents, coordinates with consultants to ensure that their design elements are translated into the documents and reviews all submittals for the project construction.

A significant part of Jeff’s almost 30-year career with Acock Associates includes development of detailed construction documents for numerous buildings on Ohio State’s campus, including: Thompson Library (Main Library), Pomerene Hall, Residences on 10th, and the Student Academic Services (SAS) building.

Jeff stayed with the SAS building as part of the onsite construction administration team.  This AIA Honor Award project was built in conjunction with the 11 deck, 400 car, Lane Avenue Parking Garage project. Jeff’s detailed understanding of scope of the documents on both projects was instrumental in the successful, on-time completion of the work.

Additional projects for Jeff include L Brands and smaller scale commercial work.

When Jeff is not at work, he is boating and fishing on the shores of Lake Erie.
