The owners of this private residence wanted an English Georgian Manner House, suggesting a home with no street presence, which instead allowed it to became a beautiful object sitting upon its 20 acre site. The homes sits back a thousand feet from the street, with vast landscaping in all directions. The owners had a great appreciation for the outdoors requesting an outdoor swimming pool, cabana, vegetable and flower gardens. The wooded site created dynamic views from within the house which was designed with large paned windows to reveal these different views from within. The open large open plan was reduced in scale from the exterior though thoughtful detailing of a two toned Flemish bond brick pattern.
