Brian earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University, which included an Extension Studies Program at The Architectural Association in London. He studied at The Savannah College of Art and Design and is an associate member of the AIA.
Brian is an architectural project manager for Acock Associates. He collaborates with clients, consultants and contractors to supervise and manage the design and construction process from concept to completion.
Brian’s work includes the 1937 Delta Gamma sorority house renovation at OSU and adaptive reuse projects such as CCAD’s Design Studios on Broad (formerly an automotive dealership), and The Setterlin Building Company’s corporate headquarters (formerly an Anderson Concrete outbuilding). The innovative Setterlin Building design is Certified LEED Gold and recipient of an AIA Merit Award.
New construction projects include student and multi-family housing such as The Wellington, a mixed-use retail and student housing development across from OSU, and apartments and hotel development for Nationwide Realty Investors.
Outside of the office, you’ll find Brian traveling, seeking out ancient sites, from Chichen Itza and Stone Henge to mound builder sites in the Ohio and Mississippi Valley. He enjoys live music and is a disc golf enthusiast, notably playing year-round, in snow and in the dark.
