Limited Too was founded in 1987 as a brand of The Limited Inc. In 1999 Limited Too spun off from The Limited. Acock Associates was engaged to design the new Limited Too Corporate Headquarters in New Albany, Ohio. Their new Corporate Campus was designed and built in two phases.
Phase 1 was designed and built in 2000/2001. This Phase consisted of 178,000 sf of office space. Limited Too required an open workspace to promote interaction and collaboration, numerous conference rooms, and indoor and outdoor meeting spaces that varied in size, privacy and formality. The office space was organized by a 2-story atrium/circulation spine with clearstory lighting.
Phase 2 was designed and built in 2007/2008. The design included a two-level parking garage with the lower level below grade, and a 68,000 sf office building to provide open, flexible office space for the creative departments of the Company, renamed Justice, after the president's daughter. The design connected the parking garage and office building with an enclosed, conditioned walkway that bridged over a water feature. The two-story circulation spine with clerestory lighting was extended from the existing building through the office expansion. The new office space design created green roofs and rooftop meeting areas accessible from the 2nd floor.
A loop road was installed through the site to provide multiple access points and to connect existing and future buildings, parking deck and surface lots. The existing parking lots were reconfigured to increase greenspace. Water features, walking paths and terraces were provided to enhance campus aesthetics.
